This position is based in Ross-shire, Scotland, a twenty minute commute from the City of Inverness. The role is pivotal in the strategic planning, concentrating on the newly established business stream and expanding into new markets, including Wind structures, Hydrogen, Shipyards, Tanks & Storage and the Nuclear energy sector. This position also plays a crucial part in driving business development in the existing core business of Oil & Gas.

Mandatory Requirements for application
Preferably related degree or equivalent
Extensive experience in the Energy Industry
Proven track record in driving successful business development, sales and marketing strategies
Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, compliance and industry standards
Familiarity with advanced CRM systems for effective reporting and data analysis.
Experience in one of the key sectors aforementioned is highly desirable

Strategic Planning
Identify and pursue new opportunities within the renewable energy market
Business Analytics - Actively contribute to the analysis of key areas, markets and available welding scopes. Provide data-driven insights to drive strategic decision making
Elaborate a robust business and commercial model for these opportunities
Client Relations Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new clients in the target industries
Maintain regular client visits and contact
Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and identify potential clients
Business Development
Identify key areas for business expansion in line with the business growth strategy
Prepare and roll out a business development plan for strategic projects
Tendering
Pull the opportunities identified into active tenders
Ensure the tender information is distributed to relevant departments
Collate and update tender documents ready for submission
Create margin sheets on base costs and proposed selling rates for review
Collaborate with Manager and Proposals and Tender Manager
Reporting
Weekly Activity Report: Summary of weekly activities, including client Visits/Meetings and progress on business development
Market Trends Report: Analysis of market trends, competitors and industry developments
Market Trends, Customer Management Report, Business Development Progress Report, Financial Performance Report, Business Analytics Report, Strategic Planning Report.
Sales & Marketing
Work closely with the sales and marketing corporate team to align commercial strategies with technical capabilities
Ensure a level of Technical Understanding to enhance sales presentations and proposals
collaborate in line with the Business Development vision for the region/group
Craft documentation for impactful marketing and maintain dynamic sales literature
Enhance the company`s representation at key industry events and online
Undertake research and present proposals for strategic business development projects aligned with regional growth strategy
