As a Business Development Officer, you'll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads to fuel our pipeline's expansion.By building strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business, you'll facilitate collaboration and alignment, driving collective efforts towards our shared goals and objectives. Key ResponsibilitiesProspecting, qualifying and maturing leads
Acting in a strategic capacity, you set objectives in order to develop and improve processes in the Business Development team/cross-functional teams Seek out potential business opportunities including new markets, partnerships and customer segments Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and execute Marketing campaigns and initiatives that effectively target and engage our target customers to ensure the pipeline continues to grow Attend events to network and build relationships on behalf of the company Ownership of accounts at the early stage and maturing them through the pipeline Work closely with our Marketing and Business Development teams to reduce attrition of leads Assist with key account growth as/when required Analyse tactics to support planning of engagement activities Administration, Metrication and Support Admin and account management support ensuring all accounts are maturing Support the preparation of customer and event presentation materials as well as other marketing content Support the Product team on current and future customer requirements information gathering Working alongside the wider team to ensure cohesive and effective messaging and brand representations in all business development activities Develop a strong working relationship with stakeholders across the business International travel will be required for customer meetings and events. Your Experience
Proven track record in prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads, within a business development or sales environment. Experience in taking ownership of accounts at the early stage and guiding them through the pipeline to successful maturation. Experience in providing administrative support, including account management and preparation of presentation materials and marketing content. Experience using CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and forecast sales. Experience in using Pipedrive would be desirable. Your Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business. Strong networking skills with the capability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts. Effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives and drive business growth. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business environments and overcome challenges with resilience and determination. Prior experience in the automotive industry, providing valuable insights and credibility when engaging with clients and stakeholders would be desirable.
