Job Description
About Us
We are the market leader for public sector procurement with over 40 years’ industry experience.
We have an exciting strategic strategy to deliver double-digit growth over the next two years. Aligned to that, we are scaling our Business Intelligence function, looking to recruit 2 Business Development Managers (BDM’s) to join our established team, who combined have over 50 years’ public sector knowledge.
The Opportunity
So, what would your first 2 months look like? To start with you’ll be introduced to the rest of the sales team, then over 4 weeks will give you everything you need to prepare you for success. The 4 weeks following training will be a period of incubation. This is when you’ll start to put the things you now know into practice, with daily support on the sales floor from the team and your Sales Manager Chris.
You’re then, before you know it in month 3 of your career at BiP. This is when things start to really take shape and where we get to see the impact you can make to BI using your existing skills & experience, coupled with your new knowledge of BiP Solutions, Public Sector Procurement and how we operate.
If you have at least 1 years’ sales experience, a track record of delivering sales, and a positive, enthusiastic attitude with a real desire for success then keep reading as you might be a great fit.
In our BI Division, consultative selling and understanding the consultative process is key to winning new business. But don’t worry… If you’re a fantastic sales professional and don’t have this knowledge, this will form part of your training. We really are trying to help private sector suppliers succeed in the public sector, and the only way we can do this is by understanding our customers’ business.
