Job Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:
- Field sales opportunity focused on selling solutions and Variable Speed Drives.
- Utilize product knowledge and market experience to achieve automation sales growth and exceed targets.
- Proactively identify and engage new leads and companies to expand business reach.
- Target OEMs to promote and sell the company's Variable Speed Drives.
- Strategize and execute sales plans aligned with business objectives and forecasts.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal departments, including procurement, design, and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
- Drive pipeline generation to facilitate revenue growth and achievement of targets.
- Monitor, forecast, and provide regular reports on sales activities within your area, tracking against key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements for the Business Development Manager:
- Proven track record of billing and developing new business.
- Strong working knowledge of low voltage Variable Speed Drive, Soft Starter, and controls systems designs and implementations.
- Sound experience of the UK automation market and customer base.
- Able to organize and plan your week accordingly.
- Experience in account management and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Self-sufficient and comfortable providing solutions to a problem.
