Annual Salary: Circa£45,000 plus 1.5% of turnover (uncapped commission)Location: New Southgate, LondonJob Type: Permanent, Full-timeWorking Hours: Monday to Friday We are on the hunt for a dedicated Business Development Manager with a background in the cleaning industry to spearhead our growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cleaning business, particularly within commercial office
environments, and will be adept at lead generation and client acquisition. Day-to-day of the role:
Conducting thorough surveys of potential business sites to assess cleaning needs and capacity.Generating leads and converting them into long-term clients.Understanding the nuances of cleaning various surfaces, such as carpets and hard floors.Developing and implementing strategies for new business acquisition.Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.Negotiating contracts and closing deals to meet and exceed financial targets.Collaborating with the operations team to ensure service delivery meets the highest standards. Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience in the cleaning industry, particularly in a business development or sales role.Strong understanding of commercial cleaning variables and requirements.Demonstrated ability to generate leads and drive business growth.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to business development.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
