Do you have extensive experience selling energy services and looking for your next challenge? Are you a driven individual and want to succeed in your next business development role?
The Role
LASER Energy's Business Development Managers are responsible for generating and securing new business for their services. They use their skills to generate new business across the public sector so experience selling to Local Authority, NHS, Universities or Colleges would be desirable. You must be an excellent communicator, strong negotiator and great at building long-lasting relationships.
A key requirement for this role will be both prospecting and qualifying leads from existing networks and contacts, whilst also being able to convert leads from our marketing activity. Candidates must have demonstrable experience selling energy services to Corporate Businesses or Public Sector Organisation's.
When not meeting with clients, the successful candidate will be able to work on a remote basis from home, however they must be prepared to travel to our main office in Kings Hill, Kent up to once a month for Team Meetings in addition they may be other occasional company events that require attendance.
Candidates must be based in the UK, have a full UK driving licence and be prepared to travel to client meetings on a regular basis, please consider this before making your application.In return we will offer you:

Key Duties
Self-generate and qualify sales leads from existing and new contact lists
Arrange and attend meetings with prospective customers with regular travel across the UK
Collaborate with the Bid- Co-ordinator to submit proposals and tender responses
Work in partnership with Marketing Team for new business development opportunities
Show adaptability enabling new business with a variety of sectors
Use our CRM software to track sales
What we need from you
Demonstrable experience selling energy services to small to medium sized businesses or public sector organisations
Ability to communicate and collaborate with senior decision makers
A proven track record of meeting sales targets
Excellent presentation skills
A driven individual that is curious and resilient
Self motivated and able to work autonomously
Full UK Driving Licence, access to their own vehicle and prepared to travel as a main part of their role
