Business Development Manager - Energy Solutions



Location:�Loughton, Essex



CRG are working with an established energy solutions provider offering a comprehensive range of mechanical and electrical services, encompassing consultancy, design, supply, and installation. Your Role:



As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of their business. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and promoting their range of energy solutions and services.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the energy sector, with a focus on expanding our client base and market presence.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, developers, and facility managers.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for business expansion.

  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities and value proposition.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.

  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients throughout the sales process, addressing any queries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

  • Monitor and track sales performance, analyzing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

  • Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements relevant to our business.



Qualifications and Experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the energy sector or a related industry.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, energy efficiency solutions, and sustainable practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software�

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
