As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the market presence, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Our client is a market leader within the specialist electrical wholesale industry based in Trafford Park. They are looking to hire a Business Development Manager. This is a great opportunity to develop a career with a highly successful company on a full-time permanent basis.

- Salary circa �28,000-�32,000 plus commission
- Office based
- Monday to Friday
- 08:30-17:00
The role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets in the solar energy sector.
- Implement and oversee effective maintenance strategies for solar installations.
- Oversee the end-to-end project development lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients to expand our customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including solar project developers, utilities, government agencies, and other industry partners.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of business deals, contracts, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative solar energy solutions and services that meet customer needs.
- Manage engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) processes efficiently.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and identify areas for differentiation.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our company and establish strategic partnerships.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
The candidate:
- Proven experience in project development and EPC within the solar industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies and market trends.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
