Business Development Manager
Talke, (Head Office in Stoke on Trent, covering Nationally)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:00pm
Salary: up to £35,000 per annum base salary with uncapped commission
Hybrid Role – 1 day a week in the Stoke on Trent office
Our client is seeking a dynamic and confident individual to work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless transition from lead generation to customer activation, supporting with the growth of their business nationally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
Lead Generation:
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies across various channels.
- Utilise data and analytics to identify and target potential customers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise lead generation campaigns.
Prospecting:
- Conduct research to identify and qualify potential leads.
- Tailor outreach strategies to engage with target demographics or industries.
Customer Outreach:
- Initiate and maintain effective communication with potential customers.
- Nurture leads through the sales funnel, addressing their unique needs.
Account Activation:
- Develop and implement strategies to convert leads into active accounts.
Data Analysis:
- Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Use analytics tools to measure the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and customer success.
- Provide insights and feedback to optimise the overall customer journey.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and account activation processes.
- Document best practices and success stories to share with the team.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced efficiency.
Training and Support:
- Share knowledge and insights to foster a culture of continuous learning relating to new clients and the sector.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, and account activation.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
