Business Development Manager - Electronics - Remote Working
Up to £40K salary + Commission / Bonus + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension + WFH
 
Experienced technical sales professional required for a well-established electronics / PCB manufacturer, with relevant sector specific experience.
 
The role would be suited to an individual with the ability to clearly communicate with purchasing managers, design and manufacturing teams. Applicants must have a good understanding of the PCBA and cable assembly manufacturing processes.
 
This is a remote position; however, you will be expected to attend NPI and contract review meetings on site. Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer and work closely with the Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Operations departments, you will be responsible for generating new business and developing long term relationships to assist with the continued growth of the business.
 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Role:
 
·Pro-actively generate and pursue new business opportunities,
·Attend NPI and contract review meetings,
·Liaise with other departments on any customer issues, such as the Engineering, Quality and Operations departments.
·Support customers and prospective customers with their enquiries.
·Understand technical drawings and assess customer BOM's,
·Be fully conversant with the manufacturing processes for PCBA and Cable assembly.
 
Experience:
 
·The company is looking for an individual with a proven track record working within the electronics manufacturing industry, with experience selling and promoting PCBA, Cable assembly and Box Build manufacturing services.
·Must be able to read and understand technical drawings.
