YOUR TASKS:
We are looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager taking ownership of growing FESTs´ green hydrogen business in South Europe. In this role, you will engage in complex business discussions and will have to be comfortable and adaptive to hold commercial and technical conversations with customers. You are comfortable using data and insights to drive sales and are performance-minded both internally and externally. Moreover, you have the opportunity to display your entrepreneurial drive and collaborate across several teams and functions to build a winning offering. We have a great base to start from and look for you to help us build up the South European markets.
Your main duties will involve:
Responsibility to manage and grow business in South Europe.Identify and manage a pipeline of existing and new potential FEST clients and partnersActively build relationships with identified leads ensuring a tailored approach to position FEST as a partner of choiceLead negotiations to ensure profitable deals, fair contract terms, and customer successAct as a trusted advisor to clients and partnersMonitor the market and competition and provide feedback to the companyActively participate in refining the local market strategy with FEST leadership and cross functional teams to accelerate our market entryExecute specific business development initiatives in line with the strategyAct as global or regional key account manager for certain strategic accountsCollaborate with marketing to develop leadsSet and enforce customer service standards to ensure clients are satisfied with received products/servicesEnsure business processes and standards are followed (especially the CRM tool)
YOUR PROFILE:
Passionate about decarbonizing and greening our planetExperience ideally in the hydrogen, industrial gas, energy, chemical process, or engineering industryExcellent command of Spanish and English, other South European languages are welcomeProven success within capital/solution sales and business developmentGood understanding of the energy and mobility landscapeStrong analytical, financial, and commercial acumen with instinct for the right opportunities, comfortable presenting to senior level stakeholders.Demonstrable consultative sales approach (build relationships and tailor our offering and business model to a specific client or partner)Skilled in both new sales and developing existing clients.Excellent communicator and natural relationship builder, skilled at generating buy-in and building followership with both internal and external stakeholders.You are a great collaborator & problem solver who can derive actionable insights and find creative ways to to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for partners and FESTAbility to manage complex projects and multi-task in a dynamic environment.Excellent analytical skills - such as translating data into actions, or analyzing sales metrics and producing relevant KPIs.Strong negotiation skills, self-starter and decision maker, experience in scaling organisations, international mindset, and proven execution excellence in past experiencesIdeally has experience in SpainProficient and disciplined in using & maintaining a CRM and using digital tools such as MS Office suite
