Would you like to work for a well established CFD consultancy?Would you like to take a lead in developing a sales strategy?If so, then this could be the job for you!A new role has arisen at a reputable engineering consultancy based in London. They are a CFD specialist business offering their clients CFD consultative services, as well as licencing their own inhouse developed software to clients in a variety of industries..The business was recently acquired by an international company, who have big growth plans for the business. The first role they are looking to hire is a Business Developer who's main role will be to target and identify new businesses across the UK and Europe, as well as manage their current accounts.Reporting directly into the Managing Director you would work quite autonomously, whilst being supported by a Sales Administrator and technical consultants. Joining this close knit team you would be based in the company's London office, although some travel will be required within the role.Role Responsibilities
* Identify new clients and new agents.
* Help develop a company sales strategy
* Proactively contact or visit potential customers in the target industry, understand their characteristics, and requirements, and facilitate transactions.
* Maintain the list of existing active clients and agents, and assist sales administrator in maintaining current clients.
* Regularly participate in pre-marketing work such as sales data statistics.
* Provide excellent customer serviceRole Requirements
* Ideally proven 2+ years experience in engineering software or technical sales.
* Experience of B2B sales within the engineering sector, or B2B sales plus an engineering qualification
* Self-motivated individual who is happy to take on responsibility
* Results driven with good interpersonal skills.
* Bachelor's degree or above (business and marketing, engineering mechanics, software engineering or other relevant majors, etc).
* Knowledge of CFD or other types of simulations would be beneficial
* Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* The right to live and work in the UK.Package
* Basic Salary (based on experience but a rough guide is £38,000 - £50,000)
