Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting a Business Development Manager to join this highly reputable and well-established Training and Recruitment business. 

The BDM will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and promoting recruitment and training services to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels including networking events, cold calling, and online research.
  • Arrange visits and presentations to key current and prospect clients within the territory.
  • Ensure that all National and Key Regional Account sales opportunities are maximised, liaising with National Sales staff as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to understand their recruitment needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure smooth delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Ensure that all promotional & PR opportunities, both for the territories are maximised, liaising with Group Marketing as appropriate.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients, showcasing our recruitment expertise and value proposition.

Qualifications:


  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the recruitment industry but this is not essential.
  • New business hunter with a high-level of drive and motivation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full Uk Driving license with flexibility to travel across Yorkshire region.
