Job DescriptionBusiness Development Manager – IT Hardware (1 position filled 1 position vacant)My client is looking for an experienced new business development manager to join their fast-growing IT Hardware sales team based in central London. They want a real deal BDM who is resilient and can build relationships at C-Suite level and that is open to learning. They are looking for people with contacts in the desired industries noted below within the UK.You will have a network of contacts and understand how to network and build contacts, relationships in diverse industries where the use of portable IT hardware is common.Typical customers:- have 500 to 3000 employees who largely work in a remote or hybrid way.Typical industries include: - Financial Services, Accountancy, Managed Services, Insurance, Legal.The Ideal Person· 5 years IT Hardware Business Development Experience preferred.· Capable of building a pipeline of £2million to £6million of sales.· Credible at senior level UK IT / C-Suite· Entrepreneurial.· Can demonstrate and quantify UK success and the processes they used.· Not intimidated by new business acquisition from major new customers.· Organised, Methodical, CRM user, Linkedin Sales Navigator user· Able to travel around the UK to press the flesh as required.· Within 1 hour of Central LondonThe learning periodThe clients business has many nuances and specifics, including leasing and second / third life sales giving a sustainable slant. The BDM will need to learn these nuances in the early stages and as such will be expected to be on site for the first 3 months in central London.
