Business Development Manager – IT Hardware

My client is looking for an experienced
new business development manager
to join their fast-growing
IT Hardware
sales team based in central London. They want a
real deal BDM
who is resilient and can build relationships at
C-Suite level
and that is open to learning. They are looking for people with contacts in the desired industries noted below within the
UK.
You will have a network of contacts and understand how to network and build contacts, relationships in diverse industries where the use of portable IT hardware is common.
Typical customers:-
have 500 to 3000 employees who largely work in a remote or hybrid way.
Typical industries include: -
Financial Services, Accountancy, Managed Services, Insurance, Legal.
The Ideal Person
· 3 years IT Hardware Business Development Experience preferred.
· Capable of building a pipeline of £2million to £6million of sales.
· Credible at senior level UK IT / C-Suite
· Entrepreneurial.
· Can demonstrate and quantify UK success and the processes they used.
· Not intimidated by new business acquisition from major new customers.
· Organised, Methodical, CRM user, Linkedin Sales Navigator user
· Able to travel around the UK to press the flesh as required.
· Within 1 hour of Central London
The learning period
The clients business has many nuances and specifics, including leasing and second / third life sales giving a sustainable slant. The BDM will need to learn these nuances in the early stages and as such will be expected to be on site for the first 3 months in central London. After this hybrid working is available 2 days out 3 days office.

What’s on offer
Basic Salary £55k to £75k DOE / Success History
Bonus £40k to £70k plus
Travel mileage allowance £0.45p + train tickets for work related travel
25 days holiday plus stats
4% contributory pension
If you are successful in obtaining a screening interview you will be required to quantitatively demonstrate.
1) People contact levels and qty.
2) experience selling IT at C level to Financial Services, Accountancy, Managed Services, Insurance, Legal.
3) Min 2 x six figure accounts started from zero in IT hardware or Software
