The Company
A small, innovative and ambitious media company with an advertising proposition that enables consumer brands to target passengers in a new and unique way. They already have 40 airports which they are working with and are constantly growing that number. They have a small, inclusive, ambitious and supportive culture.
The company is fairly new and the head office is in Italy. Therefore there are currently only a few people working from London but that is set to expand as we recover from the pandemic. You will also benefit from quarterly travel to Milan.
The Role of Business Development & Research Manager
As Business Development & Research Manager your role will be divided into research and sales.
Research responsibilities - You will be regularly talking to their airport partners across the globe, gathering recent passenger forecasts and insights (passenger demographics etc) and then converting those into sales stories. Equally you will take the insight from previous campaigns in order to produce case studies to strengthen their sales story to prospective advertising brands.
Sales Responsibilities - You will be going out to potential brands and agencies and selling this unique OOH proposition.
Requirements for this Business Development & Research Manager position
3+ years media sales experience either with a specialist OOH agency, media agency or media owner, with great relationship management and connections within agencies and brand marketing teams
A clear understanding of what brands look for when deciding on their media plan, such as audience demographic and the importance of presenting this data in a compelling way
Self-motivated, with a can do attitude and comfortable turning their hand to analysing passenger data and insights from airports and other sources to build compelling sales pitches
Strong relationship builder
Confident, outgoing and articulate
Eager to learn and develop
stable career history
