Filton, Bristol NHSBT is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team of Business Development Managers supporting our rapidly growing Cellular and Molecular Therapies business.Working with commercial and academic clients, both nationally and internationally, you will be a key part of NHSBT’s vision to lead the adoption of innovative cell and gene therapies into the NHS.You will have the business acumen as well as the scientific background and strategic vision required to support the national Head of Cellular and Molecular Therapies and other senior managers across the organisation.You will be responsible for achieving income expectations for the Clinical Biotechnology Centre (CBC) and will promote CBC’s manufacturing services for plasmid DNA and viral vectors.Part of the role will be to support the successful delivery of the NHSBT Innovation Hub for Gene Therapies, hosted by CBC, by providing liaison with the Hub funder (MRC/LifeArc), with other Hubs and with Hub clients.
