We are looking for a driven Business Development Lead to join our client based in Renfrewshire. The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving company growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships, and implementing strategies to expand the company’s presence and profitability within the desired sector. Previous business development experience preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist with and manage action plan to deliver against growth strategy in line with the business plan. Develop purposeful relationships with new & existing clients. Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships. Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and generate new enquiries/business. Develop and maintain full knowledge of the client's service offering. Discuss opportunities with clients and build up technical/commercial offers individually or with engineering team. Expand existing client base through networking and lead development.
Visit clients and their sites to discuss their project requirements. Strengthen the customer relationship through site visits and market communications.
Deliver against set revenue targets for the year. Assist with writing tender documents where required. Assist in development of company marketing strategies.
Know the competition by continual monitoring and tracking. Maintain and expand technical knowledge through continued education, industry publications. Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate.
Contribute to and maintain companies’ CRM database. UK wide travel regularly, Europe and Rest of World occasionally. Learn and adhere to the companies’ QAHSE policies.
