Business Development Executive - Milton Keynes – Salary £26,000 -£28,000 plus benefits - Monday to Friday 08:15-17:15My client is a leading distributor of data cabling and networking solutions into the telecom and network cabling marketplace. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the business supplies into the electrical wholesale marketplace, data infrastructure installers and telecoms industries and are part of a global group of companies employing over 2,000 people throughout the UK. This is one of the most established suppliers in this market and very well known.Whilst this a business development role there will be no call calling, all leads are warm. My client is looking for someone that has exceptional telephone skills & loves talking to customers/clients, you will relish making outbound calls & providing outstanding service.You will have a positive can-do attitude & be a real team player. This is a newly created role & is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a long term career. SummaryInternal Business development role with a defined target list of new and existing customers and managing this customer base.Working on groups of customers that already have a group agreement in place with us and proactively calling new and dormant customers.Selling existing products to customers that are already purchasing from elsewhere.Answering telephone enquiries and raising quotations and following up.Proactively developing close relationships with customers.Processing orders and handling ordering queries.Building product and brand awareness with customers.This role would ideally suit someone that has sales experience in the data infrastructure and networking industry but not essential as full training will be provided.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsA positive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work under pressureDynamic with a good sense of humour and a passion for achievement and successTelephone Sales/ Customer Service experienceCustomer service focused approachGood typing speed and accuracyAttention to detail and organisedTeam playerThis role will require a hard-working and likeable individual, who will grow relationships and offer exceptional levels of customer service to their diverse customer base. What’s in it for you£26-28,000 negotiable, depending on experienceExcellent company pension schemeOn-site parkingEstablished in 1995, Osborne Appointments is an independently owned recruitment agency specialising in the supply of temporary, contract and permanent placements.
