Great that you're thinking about a career with BSI!Role: Business Development Executive (IoT)Location: Milton Keynes with hybrid workingContact: Full-time, permanentAbout the role:In this role, you will be working in our Digital & Connected practice sales team where you'll be responsible for selling products and services within our Internet of Things (IoT) portfolio to both new and existing clients. This will include products within cyber security essentials and product testing. You will identify and manage sales opportunities, building strong and credible relationships with clients to understand their needs and offer the best solutions that’ll work for their business.Additional responsibilities include:Qualifying leads provided by internal colleagues Identify new prospects and grow our customer baseMake outbound B2B cold calls to prospective businesses across the CountryExecute BSI sales process to investigate, explore and understand customer needs to sell relevant products/servicesActively seek opportunities to cross sell other BSI products or servicesSupport clients by ensuring they meet regulatory complianceTo be successful in the role, you will have: Previous experience in a sales environment with evidence of exceeding targetsProven ability in closing B2B sales and winning new businessExcellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skillsExcellent negotiation, organisational and presentation skillsSelf-motivated and adaptable to work with minimal supervisionExperience of IoT would be an advantage but not essentialAn understanding of the PSTI Act would also be an advantageOur benefitsBSI offers a competitive total reward package, an independent and varied job in an international environment, flexible working hours, ongoing training and development with the inclusion of; 27-days annual leave, paid sick leave, bank holidays, health insurance, life insurance, pension plan with company contribution, income protection, paid maternity leave, paid paternity leave, paid parental leave, adoption leave, compassionate leave, paid bereavement leave, learning and development
