Business Development Executive

We are actively recruiting for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated Business Development Executive on behalf of our established client situated in Farnham, Surrey. This is an exciting opportunity to join an international physical agricultural Commodity Broking company. The Business Development Executive will work closely with the Commodity Broking and Operation teams in order to further develop existing and new business opportunities. This is an international client facing role which will require occasional travel at short notice, you will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and initiate contacts with new business clients. In return you will receive full training and career development from the Senior Management Team, including industry accredited qualifications. If you have a passion to succeed..! and possess an inquisitive nature to seek out opportunity within global economic markets, we would like to hear from you.9am - 18:00hrs Monday - Friday Parking ProvidedSalary :- £25,000.00-£35,000.00 p.a. + BONUSDuties :-Develop new business leads and initiate contact with new clients via telephone/emailPrepare contract, trade, shipping terms and documentation - training providedLiaise closely with Commodity & Operation TeamsNegotiationContract execution, OperationsDispute resolution· Shadow brokers and their interaction with clients.· Collate, analyse and report information to assist with the businessUnderstanding of the commodity, origins, markets and trade flows· Perform analysis on market sectors for managementDesired Qualifications/Experience· Proven Sales/Business Development/Account Management experience· Strong IT knowledge· Required: GCSE's in English language and MathematicsUseful knowledge :- International Current Affairs and Regional GeographyAn understanding of Economics.Languages advantageous : Mandarin, Spanish, French, Arabic
