Position: Business Development Professional

Our client is a leading provider of innovative protection and security solutions aimed at the Distribution / Warehouse and Manufacturing sectors, including barrier protection, racking & shelving protection and machine guarding. Key Responsibilities:




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction sector, with a focus on barrier protection.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and developers.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential areas for growth.

  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.

  • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to understand CAD drawings for accurate quotation purposes.

  • Develop tailored solutions and proposals to meet the specific needs of clients.

  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote products and services.





Requirements:






  • Proven experience in business development within the construction industry, particularly in barrier protection or street furniture.

  • Strong understanding of the full sales lifecycle and demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.

  • Ability to interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications for accurate quotation purposes.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
