With our principle ‘Sustainable Innovation’ at the heart of everything we do, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved already and excited to bring and develop talent into the EV industry. 2024 promises to be another exciting year with all the foundations in place to embark on an ambitious growth journey.About the roleThe role of the Business Development Executive is to work closely with the Business Development Manager in proactively developing TXE sales with all customers in the UK promoting Non-Hackney Sales. This role will develop good relationships with LEVC key customers to maximise sales in the UK.Identify & seek out new prospects, formulate account relationships, and maintain lasting sales penetration across specific sectors on an account-by-account basis. Ending in multiple profitable sales volumes – compliant with all Brand principles.Maximise volume sales, protect brand principles and respond proactively to all sales opportunities in a professional manner.Work on prospects with manager to manage to completion and submission of any customer tenders received by LEVC, liaising with all necessary departments to ensure a quality response in line with brand values. Record sales activity and prospecting data to an acceptable auditable process. Track and identify key conditions/market opportunities aligned to our product offer whilst implementing marketing initiatives that deliver and maximise growth and product exposure to all relevant industry sectors. Complete appropriate sales reports – as required by Line Manager/Management Teams.
Lead meetings, design and present at senior level as well as attending/co-ordinating events to position products and services. Ensuring participation from targeted customers/prospects.
Support the preparation of the strategic Non-Hackney sales development for LEVC in UK. o
Analysis of legislation and how to exploit these quickly. o
Assist in the research of markets and the prioritisation of market development. Build and maintain relationships with major fleets/NHS and relevant UK customers. Build and maintain relationships with LEVC’s distribution and maintenance partners across UK. Build and maintain relationships with the major fleet funders. Ensure that sales forecasts are accurate and achievable.
Ensure that market intelligence regarding legislation, competitor activity, trends and customer requirements are fed back to the Sales and Marketing team to enable stronger future propositions are developed and brought to market. Experience to succeed
Experience of key account targeting, prospecting and development essential.
Experience of building new business
Ability to influence and manage a complex stakeholder environment.
Ability to communicate and present effectively to a senior audience.
B2B sales background with both public and private sector customers Customer focused / account management experience. Experience in defining and adhering to a sales process Proven track record of sales target achievement and the ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners. Proven experience in building and nurturing relationships that deliver commercial results. FCA compliance experience (desired).
