We are looking for a Business Development and Project Management Specialist who wants to build the healthcare services of the future!The companyDr.Dropin was founded in 2017 by Dr Daniel Sørli and has since grown to be the largest independent healthcare provider in Norway with over 30 clinics across Norway and Sweden. It opened its first clinic in the UK in March 2024 in Fulham, London with ambitions for a further three openings in the capital by 2025.Dr.Dropin's origination centred around growing frustrations regarding a lack of capacity/accessibility and long waiting times within the local healthcare sector. To address this, Dr.Dropin created an organisation that leverages both physical clinics and digital offerings to provide same-day or next-day medical appointments at an affordable price. Dr.Dropin’s goal is to be conveniently local but also fully accessible online, to break down siloes putting GP knowledge and key specialisms (dermatology, physiotherapy, gynaecology etc.) under one roof, and to provide prompt access to medical services at a time that is convenient for the patient with a view to early intervention, leading to better health outcomes.The roleDr.Dropin is at an exciting inflection point of growth in the UK and is looking to keep the momentum to consolidate its international expansion success story while its UK Managing Director is on maternity leave. Against this backdrop, Dr.Dropin is looking to appoint a Business Development and Project Management Specialist, reporting directly to Dr.Dropin Norway’s CEO Kristoffer Ingebrigtsen, and working closely with the Dr.Dropin UK leadership team to accelerate its growth. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial and driven individual with a proven track record that will allow them to build on what Dr.Dropin UK has achieved to date and take it to the next level. It requires both strategic thinking and hands-on effort in the field, dynamically and aggressively identifying and prioritising opportunities, building brand, customer base and partnerships alongside promoting the digi-physical offering.This is a fixed-term position (6 months) with option to extend if successful. Part-time may be negotiable. Key responsibilities include:Business Development: Identify and prioritise new business opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, networking, and relationship building. Collaborate with key stakeholders in Dr.Dropin UK and Norway to develop and implement business development initiatives. Identify prospective clients and partners, develop and nurture relationships with clients and partners, and negotiate and close deals. Ensure suitable positioning, marketing, and communication in the market. Project Management: Lead project planning, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables and track project progress against milestones and KPIs. Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Monitor project risks and issues, problem-solve and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Communicate project status updates and issues to stakeholders, and escalate as necessary. The personThe successful candidate will be a highly strategic, driven and entrepreneurial individual with strong commercial skills, who has a proven background that will allow them to drive and lead the next phase of Dr.Dropin UK’s growth. Experience across management consulting, healthcare, retail and/or digital innovation with proven track record of revenue growth and project delivery.
The individual must be highly strategic, display entrepreneurial spirit, be creative in finding solutions and must thrive in a fast-growing environment. A hands-on “doer” who takes full ownership to drive outcomes, with demonstrated ability to prioritise and management multiple initiatives in a changing environment. A strong communicator who is able to engage key stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
Ideally experienced in being responsible for revenue growth and/or marketing within a B2C or B2B2C company.
