Change sucks.
I’ve just spent 4 hours setting up a new laptop.
I liked my old laptop. I knew exactly what it could do. I knew where everything was saved. Knew that 20% battery remaining actually meant 7 minutes till it died. I even knew that I had to hit the space bar that little bit harder to get it to work.
I do not like my new laptop. It’s quicker than my old one. Lighter than my old one. Has more space, more processing speed, a bigger screen and the space bar works just fine. BUT it took 4 hours to set up, and I’m not used to it. I DON'T like it (sorry, channelling my 3 year old there).
Change is hard. Uncomfortable. Inconvenient. But perhaps it doesn’t have to be.
What am I saying, you know that already right? It’s your job to make change suck less. To champion change. To help others champion change. To ensure that change is adopted and beyond that, embraced.
Well, that being the case, I’ve got a role to run past you. It’s for a consulting company with a dedicated change practice who are staring down the barrel of a huuuuuuge pipeline of work through to the end of 2024 and beyond.
They’re in need of an experienced Business Change Manager to join them on a permanent basis supporting an array of clients with Digital Transformations enabled by some of the best technology solutions on the market.
You’ll have the chance to work with a specialist team of change and training experts ensuring customers receive the very best service whilst also playing an integral role in the development of a change practice that’s still growing.
If you’re looking for an opportunity where your input and ideas are valued and even better, actioned, it’s worth us having a chat.
We’ll both enjoy that chat more if you’ve worked on tech enabled transformations previously and if you’ve got some experience in consulting then that’ll just make my day.
My client has a London HQ but this position is open to anyone based in the UK and with home based contracts of employment there is plenty of flexibility to work remotely.
There’s a base salary of £60-75,000 on offer plus bonus and benefits and you’ll be working with an incredible change director who is committed to seeing you develop professionally.
