Job Description
ERP Implementation: Lead and participate in the new feature implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including gathering requirements, documenting processes, configuring the system, conducting user testing, and ensuring a smooth go-live.
Business Process Analysis: Collaborate with keys stakeholders to analyse existing business processes, identify opportunities for optimisation, and recommend ERP-driven solutions to improve overall efficiency.
System Configuration: Customise and configure Business Central to match the client's specific business needs, workflows, and reporting requirements.
Microsoft stack functional expert: Have the knowledge of and continuously keep up date with the Microsoft technology suite to improve a retail organisation. You be will called upon for new projects to understand where objectives can be met through using existing Microsoft technology.
Integration and Data Migration: Work with technology teams to integrate Business Central with other applications.
User Training and Support: In collaboration with the cllient's Academy conduct training sessions to educate end-users on how to effectively use the ERP system and provide ongoing support to resolve any user-related issues.
System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary updates, patches, and enhancements.
Reporting and Analytics: Design and create meaningful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to provide insights and support data-driven decision-making.
Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: In collaboration with Service Desk Support investigate and resolve technical and functional issues related to the ERP system, providing timely solutions to minimise disruptions.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes for future reference.
The Successful Applicant
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an ERP Analyst ideally in a large retail organisation, specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Strong understanding of ERP concepts, processes, and best practices.
Proficiency in configuring and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Solid knowledge of ERP integration, data migration, and reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into ERP solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and delivering high-quality results.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
ERP certifications (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications) are a plus.
