You have an opportunity to help shape the future of wealth management.Our transformation agenda requires an experienced and dynamic Strategy Architect to identify and develop value propositions in line with our strategic priorities.Working across multiple functions and domains, you will be someone who can easily adapt, assimilate, and extrapolate to add value.The post requires the role holder to have a combination of strategic, change management & transformation skills in one person.Key ResponsibilitiesWorking with others in the Platform Strategy & Architecture function, based on group strategic needs, complete client, competitor & market trends analysis to identify & develop value propositions.Able to generate or take ideas and concepts, mature design to enable launch of new products & services to market.Apply data & systems thinking to OpModel transformation.Enable growth & cost saving opportunities through client and proposition segmentation.Help define front to back performance goals and metrics for the proposed designs and solutions.Able to quickly understand and document problem statements, value chains and OpModels using industry frameworks & standards, working high to low, including but not limited to policy, procedures and processes at whole org or division level.Create and maintain a repository of business architecture design collateral, including blueprints and patterns, to support a federated design community.Independently own design problems and high impacting incidents, front to back without support, engaging, stakeholders, SMEs, product managers, BAs, Technology Architects to achieve the required outcomes.Identify and define client & business requirements for change roadmaps.Work with the other domain architects to explore specific solutions and define the scope of the projects.Review prototypes, solutions, and project scope to ensure client and colleague needs will be met.Lead and facilitate the Design Authority forum and ensure client and colleague needs are met by proposed change and solutions.Provide thought leadership and oversight to Business Analysts and Service Designers, identifying value add options and solutions.Excellent engagement with stakeholders and able to run workshops independently and coordinate as part of a wider team.QualificationsKey Skills and ExperienceWealth and Financial Services strategy consultancy experience from reputable firms such as Bain, Booz Allen, Boston Consulting Group or McKinsey.FS practitioner or SME level domain knowledge in Wealth and Asset Management.experience working in Wealth or Asset Management. Or, experience as a business architect in a tier1 Financial Services firms more broadly.Professional Qualifications and EducationTechnical, numerate, or scientific degree, such as, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics.Architecture qualifications at professional/expert level, for example, BizBok or TOGAF.Rapidly understand problem statements & context.Develop business architecture framework, governance, and maintain core architecture artefacts and deliverables.Experienced in creating architecture designs documents to high quality standards first time, covering items such as, maturity assessments, capabilities map, roadmaps, architectural diagrams, etc, using a variety of tools and applications.Hold design reviews, working groups and lead governance forums such as Design Authority and Architecture Review BoardAble to engage and influence all stakeholders, internal and external, up to C-suite.Additional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Private medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionGenerous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
