Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will report into the Digital Product & Technology Director and work closely with stakeholders from various departments to analyse, define, and document requirements for business processes, applications, and systems. Your insights and recommendations will drive strategic decisions and the implementation of efficient solutions to enhance organisational performance.
Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and processes.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather requirements.
Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and user stories.
Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to streamline operations.
Documentation:
Create clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), and use cases.
Develop process flow diagrams, data models, and system diagrams to illustrate requirements as needed.
Produce and maintain user manuals, training materials, and other documentation for end-users.
Develop & maintain an online help for our in-house core system.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects system functionality and processes.
Solution Design and Evaluation:
Collaborate with IT teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Participate in the evaluation and selection of software and technology vendors.
Assess proposed solutions against business needs, feasibility, and ROI.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Work closely with development teams to ensure that solutions meet quality standards before implementation.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, business users, and IT teams.
Present findings, recommendations, and project updates in clear and understandable terms.
Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships.
Additional Skills:
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with WordPress development and customization.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
A role for a strong Graduate with a love for travel or up to 3 years experience as a business analyst or similar role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, and analyse large amounts of data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML, SQL).
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with any project management tools
