See what we are all about here: Role DescriptionThe Business Analyst is a key role within IT, providing a focal point between business and technical stakeholders. The role seeks to understand technical infrastructure and processes through analysis and documentation, and captures business requirements for new features to be implemented within it. The right BA will not only capture these functional and non-functional requirements, but will challenge and influence stakeholders into accepting optimal technical solutions.Scope of the RoleThe Business Analyst primarily interacts with development teams and business stakeholders from across the Group. We are seeking a technical business analyst, and in line with the position's seniority, the candidate is expected to be able to project manage work with support from the project management team.- \tDocumentation of As-Is and To-Be systems and processes to support development- \tPlay a leading role in understanding and communicating work scope across teams, often with fairly agile lead time- \tAct as translator and influencer in capturing business requirements, ensuring solid requirement coverage across functional and non-functional areas. After collaboration with the Solution Architect(s), these should be recorded as user stories, allowing developers and QAs to estimate effort- \tEvolution of internal BA processes to improve efficiency, output and accuracyQualificationsAnalytical Skills, Business Analysis, and Communication skillsExperience in analyzing business processes and gathering business requirementsAbility to identify areas for improvementStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team & comfortable managing expectations across all levels of the businessMethodical approachAbility to multi-task whilst under pressureAt least five year's experience within Ecommerce business analysis-focused rolesStrong retail / online / multi-site experience. Hands-on experience with business systems would be desirable, meaningful experience of non Ecommerce aspects of retail businesses solutions will be a significant positive. e.g. PoS, Merchandising, Logistics, Finance Operations etc.A degree in Business, Management, or related field or equivalentSkills- \tDeveloping user stories, along with prioritisation and sizing for Ecommerce development- \tHands-on experience working in a Scrum software development environment for Ecommerce, and able to utilise knowledge of different business analysis techniques (eg swimlane diagrams) to drive optimal understanding of the changes that are needed- \tHands-on experience and working knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (previously Demandware) and / or Adobe Commerce Cloud (or Magento 2) particularly in the following areas:o Product, price and stock managemento Order management and paymentso Third-party integrations- \tTesting principles and a solid grasp of what drives best practiceSend me alerts about jobs like this.Please enter your email address to continue setting up an email alert for similar jobs to this one.
