Business Analyst required by our client - a blue chip Company to work closely with the Business Stakeholders, IT Developers, Testers and Integrations and Infrastructure teams to deliver on projects within the business. Business Analyst will ensure that progressive business requirements are fully understood, documented, analysed and challenged, being involved in the projects throughout its life cycle, from requirements gathering to implementation.Easily commutable from Cheshire, Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales our client offers a salary to £35K plus a generous benefits package.Business Analyst - key skills & experienceStrong analytical skillsLogical thinking and problem-solving abilityGood attention to detailUnderstanding of workflows and process flow diagramsAbility and willingness to work well in a team and independentlyExcellent interpersonal communication & influencing skillsAbility to manage workloads effectivelyDesirable:Knowledge and/or expertise in agile methodologies such as Scrum and KanbanKnowledge and/or expertise in using MS DevOps (Backlog, User Stories, Kanban Board)Office productivity skills are desirable, MS office, Excel, Visio etcBusiness Analyst - Main responsibilities:Working with business stakeholders, developers and the Testers to understand business / project requirements - this could involve facilitating workshops, 1-2-1 interviews etc.Documenting the requirements following the agile methodology (Epics, Features, Stories etc.) - providing process flows where appropriateAttending project workshops, meetings, sprint reviews and system demosPreparing project backlogs and sprint plansProviding project updates either in project team meetings, or steering groupsSupporting the Project Manager regarding financial responsibility for designated projectsWhere appropriate support business stakeholders with UATWhere necessary offer support during transitional "go live" stage of projectsFor further information regards the role please forward your CV to our retained consultant Elaine Hallworth
