What the Hiring Manager SaysProvides professional business analysis services to support the organisation in project activities.Leads analysis delivery and may manages teams of analysts on medium projects or large projects and programmes under the direction of a Project ManagerBusiness Analyst required to support the Transformation project.About the RoleLevel: 4Department: Change TeamLocation: Southampton or LondonContract type: PermanentYou will provide professional business analysis services to support the organisation in project activities.Lead analysis delivery and may manages teams of analysts on medium projects or large projects and programmes under the direction of a Project Manager.Planning and AnalysisConducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefits analyses of business applications to create project proposals that align technology solutions with business objectives and the Quilter Technology Strategy and roadmaps.Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives, based on end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements.Identifies, captures and develops requirements (functional and non-functional) providing detailed documentation and business rules to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle and change control, prioritising requirements based on high-value achievable requirements.Drives continuous improvement of business products and services by translating requirements into improved design and service provisioning.Project ExecutionLeads workshops including IT and 3rd party suppliers to evaluate and translate end-user needs into practical and pragmatic solutions.Operates as a link between technical personnel and the appropriate end-user department to understand the business implications of the technical solutions on the current and future business environment.Manages system incidents working with the project team to ensure resolutionWorks with the end-user to select or define appropriate scenarios to test and determine whether system changes meet project specifications. Coordinates with users to plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Creates, reviews and delivers end-user documentation and prepares communication material on system enhancements.Monitors production performance enhancements and system integrity with end-users.About YouApplications from people with diverse backgrounds enables our inclusive organisation to thrive. You could be exactly what this role needs.We are looking for someone who willAct as an ambassador for Change, leading by example.Hands on approach, willing to roll up ones sleeves and can do attitude.Proactive and self-motivated, will take ownership and help to drive successful outcomes.Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation with the ability to facilitate, negotiate and influence others to move toward consensus.Proactively seek opportunities to share knowledge and experience and enhance the capabilities within Change delivery and grow internal knowledgeWe are looking for someone with the following attributesFinancial Services business and market knowledge.Possess sound understanding of business principles and concepts.Proficient in business analysis techniques: requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, requirements management, traceability.Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques.Exposure to the full change lifecycle and experience of supporting all stages from business case development through to embedding outcomes in the business and benefit realisation.Ability to support strategy analysis and development of strategic roadmaps.Ability to perform cost and benefit analysis and develop business cases.Strong problem-solving / opportunity shaping skills and well-versed in developing business, architectural and analysis options that help to identify and shape solutions.Excellent stakeholder engagement capability with the ability to manage expectations and explain detail.Effective communication and presentation skills with ability to relate problem solutions orally, graphically and in writing.Ability and experience assisting with planning and risk management activities.Capability to work in an Agile environment desired.Ability to work in 'Virtual' teams' cross function/cross business and geographies.Agile practitioner is desirableOur purpose is to help the generations today and tomorrow to prosper.
