Competitive salary and excellent benefitsAbout Our ClientI am working with a SaaS company within the Retail space.This innovative organisation supplies merchandising solutions to large supermarket client across the UK and globally.They are searching for a Business Analyst to join their growing team and business as they roll out some very exciting and forward thinking projects.This role is based in Leeds and offers hybrid working with 3-4 days in office.Job DescriptionWorking with customers and internal teams to gain insight into future product requirementsWorking with cross functional team to development business case to support the build, deliver and launch of enhancements and new modules.Identifying specific requirements to meet a business need, produce a solution document to document that needWrite Stories/Specifications to provide the development team and other stakeholders of what's required to build out the new functionalityBrief all internal Stakeholders on the functionality so they can test, train, implement ,Support development and test teams to build and test the functionalityBeing the internal champion for your assigned portfolio areas andEnsuring the business is educated and kept up to date with all products in your portfolioCompetitor analysis covering competitive products in your assigned areasMarket analysis looking for new trends and product opportunitiesDriving performance of products in portfolio through internal teams through incremental improvementWorking with Product Marketing and Sales to identify the value and benefits of the company's solutionsThe Successful ApplicantMinimum 4+ years as a Business Analyst or similar in a relevant business areaStrong analytical skills to identify business needs and requirementsBackground/Experience in Retail - Supermarket/Convenience or Wholesaler/Symbol Group is desirableExperience/ knowledge of Merchandising Solutions (Pricing/Promotion/Media/Supplier Collaboration) with Retail/Wholesale business or relevant retail software company is desirablePrevious success in the enhancement of business IT solutions in a relevant areaStrong IT Skills and in-depth experience in the development process as a business analystStrong writing skills and an ability to identify the keys issues and requirements and document them in a concise, but easy to understand way.Understands the importance of collaboration and teamworkExperience in an Agile software development environmentExperience as Developer/Senior Tester or System DesignPresentation skills - demo to Prospects/Existing Clients - Speaking at Industry EventsGood understanding of technology and experience in using SQLExperience in Prince or other Project Management methodologies / tools.What's on OfferSalary range of £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience Michael Page is part of the PageGroup.
