Business Analyst

A leading insurance underwriter at the forefront of technological innovation are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions you will be a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, playing a pivotal role in defining and implementing technology solutions.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with business users and IT teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems, processes, and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.Work closely with project managers, architects, and developers to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business goals.Participate in the full project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and post-implementation support.Contribute to the development of test plans and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications and Experience:Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst within the insurance industry, with a focus on the London Market or Lloyds.Strong understanding of insurance processes and underwriting workflows.Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications used in the insurance sector.Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.Relevant professional certifications (e.g., IIBA, CBAP) are a plus.The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) with a salary of £90-100k and flexible for the right candidate.
