Business Analyst

We are partnered with an growing SME Fintech in Manchester who are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join their growing team and take ownership of that function, with great opportunities of progression into a Senior BA or even more into a Product role.The RoleYou will collaborate closely with the Product & in house development team and stakeholders from UK and off-shore offices to define necessary changes in alignment with the Product Roadmap. You will be working with a strong and well know Fintech brand as they invest heavily in their tech and people to become the best in their field.ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis, gathering requirements, process mapping, user stories, As-is & To-be mapping.Collaborate with the Product team to define changes aligning with the product roadmap to meet business value and goals.Conduct interviews and analysis to gather and comprehend business requirements, addressing specific business challenges or opportunities.Engage with stakeholders across the business, facilitating effective communication and collaboration, whether individually or in group settings.Ensure clear communication with the tech team, ensuring comprehension of business requirements and user story objectives.Identify and propose improvements in business processes and technology to enhance operational efficiency.Provide regular updates on progress to the Product Owner and business stakeholders.Maintain and update documentation while generating new artifacts to reflect changes, including requirements, process maps, user story maps, and solution documentation.Translate requirements into well-defined user stories with clear acceptance criteria and relevant supporting
information/documentation. RequirementsProven track record in Business Analysis.Background in financial ideal but not necessary.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Proactive "get things done" mentality.Embrace a growth mindset, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.Analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Desire to develop into a Product position in the future.The businessThe business are extremely well positioned in the market, stable and organically growing.
