Business Analyst

Business AnalystNorthampton, Radbroke or Sunderland As a Barclays Business Analyst, you will be responsible for designing the principles and procedures that are required to deliver customer KYC refresh. Your focus will be to shape KYC projects, define the policy requirements and collaborate with data and modelling teams to agree customer populations KYC refresh to be taken forward to delivery. You will also collaborate with and be the key link to subject matter experts who sit within the business teams and have understanding of products and systems which are needed to inform the approach taken. What will you be doing?•
Being responsible for ensuring using Business Analysis methodologies and tools to design and shape projects•
Taking prime responsibility, collaborating with the Project/Programme Manager and stakeholders to identify, quantify, plan & control all Business Analysis related activity•
Assessing, designing, developing and implementing new business processes, systems, products & services that are the deliverables from a strategic business change project•
Being responsible for driving objective analytical insight based on work completed by Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) on BAU activities and business change projects•
Taking responsibility for ensuring delivery & presentation of Business Analysis is to appropriate levels of quality, on time & within budget, in accordance with project plan•
Having an effective management and reporting of own time to deliver against project plan•
Initiating, formulating and presenting recommendations based on analysis to influence the decisions made by project management & Business Analysis functions•
Managing specific Business Analysis workstreams on major business change projects and small change programmes to provide specialist, objective analytical insight What we’re looking for:•
Understanding & experience of Business Analysis methodologies including requirements definition (functional & nonfunctional), process & operating model assessment design•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills•
Comfortable with problem solving and innovating within role•
Understanding of Business Analysis methodologies Skills that will help you in the role:•
Industry standard BA qualification•
Detailed knowledge and understanding of Barclays products/services and KYC•
Experience working in financial crime Where will you be working?Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we've been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997.
