Business Analyst

Your new companyBased very close to Liverpool city centre, this public sector organisation has an education-focused mission, and is in need of a talented Business Analyst to support an ongoing technical project.Your new roleIn this role, you will be developing business requirements for the technical teams, and will need a full understanding of the software development lifecycle. You will be analysing requirements and supporting technical design. You will be working with end users to explore their needs in relation to a new technical opportunity.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for this role, you will have proven experience as a Business Analyst working in a technical environment, preferably in the public sector. You will need to be able to analyse and document business processes and relate them to differing user roles, document and prioritise navigation paths through existing screens, exploring opportunities for improvement and influencing users where necessary.You will need experience of working closely with 3rd party developers, as well as in-house testers and a variety of end users to support delivery.
