Business Analyst - Lloyd's / London Market Insurance - Permanent - London - Hybrid

Leading broker from the London Market is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join their team and work on as-is/to-be processes and design, as well as supporting the Senior Business Analyst and handle some small change initiatives.

They are looking for an intellectually curious individual, who would like to expand their skills and experience working on different projects across IT and Operations.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to learn new software/systems, as well as having plenty of support to grow within the company and further their career in the insurance industry.

The role is hybrid with 1 days/week working from their London office & paying up to £50,000 base + package.

Key responsibilities:

• Apply innovative design thinking techniques to define needs, create solutions, and rigorously test prototypes for validation
• Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of existing business processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and modeling future-state processes
• Dive into data analysis when needed - impact, quality, migration, and reconciliation
• Effectively communicate progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders with transparency and clarity
• Demonstrate articulate reporting across all facets of work, communicating effectively with management

Experience/Skills Required:

• Business Analysis experience in the insurance industry, ideally from the Lloyd's / London Market Insurance
• Commercial experience of utilising a variety of Business Analysis structured methods
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling business partnership
• Proven organisational skills and ready to take initiatives
• Detail orientated, process driven, logical and analytical thinker
