Who are we?
We're The Wine Flyer, a new eCommerce venture from IAG Loyalty, with the aim of making great products accessible to our customers!
Wines are an area of huge passion for many of our customers. Together, with our professional expertise in the category from our careers in travel and hospitality, we have a unique ability to bring a first-class ‘edit' from the world of wines, including many from the British Airways inflight and lounge offering.
This, combined with the power of the IAG Loyalty platform, means not only are we providing outstanding products, but we're also giving British Airways Executive Club members the opportunity to discount their purchases using their Avios or to collect points when they buy from us to use on future reward flights.
What does this mean for you?
As a Business Analyst at IAG Loyalty Retail, you'll be instrumental in aligning our business objectives with technology solutions for The Wine Flyer. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across various departments, including Marketing, Servicing, Buying, and Operations, you'll analyse processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities will include orchestrating Agile/Scrum activities within our technology team, gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing existing processes, and recommending solutions to enhance productivity. You'll work alongside UX/UI designers to translate user requirements into technical specifications, manage stakeholder relationships, conduct testing and quality assurance, provide training and support to end users, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will also involve contributing to operational problem management and change management efforts.
What experience will we love you to have?
Proven Business Analyst Experience: Demonstrated track record as a Business Analyst specifically within the retail sector.
️ Retail Operations Understanding: Strong comprehension of retail operations, encompassing areas such as sales, inventory management, and customer relationship management.
Startup Mindset: Demonstrate your understanding of the startup culture and its unique challenges, such as limited resources, tight timelines, and ambiguity. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and the capability to identify and creatively solve problems.
Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with project management tools. Possession of Scrum/Agile certifications and a solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle would be advantageous.
️ Tools Proficiency: Proven experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft 0365 suite or similar tools commonly used in project management and collaboration.
UX/UI Collaboration: Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers to document user requirements derived from UX designs, user journeys, and customer insights.
If you're ready to make an impact, push boundaries, and embark on a journey of continuous growth, we want to hear from you! Don't let a few unchecked boxes hold you back—your unique perspective and talents are what we value most. Join us and let's shape the future together!
