Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the Derivatives and FX Post Trade business, working as part of the team responsible for the delivery of a multi-year program to re-platform and uplift global Derivatives and FX Post Trade processing to achieve target efficiency, control and client service outcomes.
As an Business Analyst - Senior Associate within Markets Post Trade Transformation (MPTT) team you will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing and implementation of ongoing product enhancements, as well as strategic level deliverables across the Derivatives and FX post-trade domain. It affords significant opportunity to collaborate with various Technology, Business, Operations and Transformation teams.
Job responsibilities
Focuses on the end-to-end management of all Transformation activities covering business analysis, , user acceptance testing, parallel / migration tasks, as well as ensuring the realization of priority operational outcomes
Analyses and evaluates operational systems and user needs
Elicits requirements and user stories
Performs requirements analysis, and prioritizing based on business needs
Ensures operational readiness and supporting the transition from development to production
Identifies and helping to resolve post-implementation issues and defects
Facilitates communication between Operations, Technology and Transformation stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Ability to gather, document and analyze requirements and user stories from stakeholders
Ability to create test plans and associated test cases, and support users when conducting UAT
Proficient using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Practical knowledge and experience of Agile methodology and frameworks
Task management
Team player with the ability to work productively within a group
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient using Microsoft 365
Problem solving / issue resolution skills
Analytical thinking
Listening / Questioning
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in Markets Operations, FX or Derivatives Operations experience
Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience
