Job DescriptionBusiness Analyst, Consumer Duty ( 6 - 12 months FTC )LondonOur client is a globally recognised, successful bank who provide world-class services to various institutions and individuals. Due to business growth, they are now looking acquire the services of a Business Analyst, Consumer Duty.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation who strongly uphold their values to put their customers at the heart of all that they do and offer a highly personalised client service.Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch.Key Responsibilities:Providing , monitoring and analysing all data for the Consumer Duty dashboard for Private Banking and Business Development.Elicits, analyses, specifies, and validates the business needs of Private Banking in relation to Consumer DutyCollaborates with external consultants and other stakeholders to determine required dataResearches, reviews, and analyses the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes.Assists in conducting research on products to meet agreed upon requirementsParticipates in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use.Analyses and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Creates process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.Develops and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted.Key Skills/Experience:Experience with the FCA's Consumer Duty Regulations preferred.3- 5 years’ experience in a similar financial services business analyst type role, ideally Private BankingProven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, and methodology developmentDemonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing resourcesStrong working knowledge of Excel skills sufficient to produce reports and meaningful MIEssential : Proficient skills in Excel, Word, PowerPointExcellent research and datamining skillsStrong attention to detail, quality, and accuracyAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and assist others when required.An ability to ‘think outside the box’ and look for creative solutionsStrong drive for continuous improvement.An inquiring mind to investigate client issuesIn return we offer a fantastic benefits package including:Up to 10% employer pension contribution Life Assurance CoverIncome protection Private Medical Insurance plan (upon successful completion of probation period) Contribution to glasses/contacts and eye testingGym subsidy (up to £50 per month) Cycle to work schemeEmployee Assistance ProgramInterest Free season ticket loan for travelBirthday Leave 25 days annual leave, rising to 28 after 3 years and 30 after 8 years’ serviceGive As You Earn (GAYE)
