This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.Background You will be joining the Technology team as a Front Office Business Analyst allocated to a cross-functional team aligned to Investment Management Programme
of work . You will lead change initiatives and will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships on behalf of the team. Key ResponsibilitiesElicit requirements using appropriate methods including interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process and workflow analysis.Work closely with business stakeholders and Project Manager to define project requirements and scope.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery using Agile methodologies.Utilise SQL, Excel, PowerBI and other relevant tools to gather, analyse, manipulate and document data – be able to translate this into technical specifications for data engineers to implement.Engage with the Business Analysis team for knowledge sharing and guidance.Set the direction and use standards and tools (such as Azure DevOps, LucidCharts, Miro, MS Teams etc.) for successful project delivery.Stay current with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies, particularly relevant for your area of work.Proactively identify and implement improvements across organisational processes.Desired Skills / ExperienceExperience of working with Blackrock Aladdin, supporting Front Office on a diverse set of projects and complex requirementsAbility to evaluate and understand the functionalities and capabilities of Aladdin platformStrong understanding of asset management functions, knowledge of financial data and asset classes (Fixed Income and Equities)Strong data-analysis and technical skills – using SQL, Power BI, Excel, and PythonStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with audiences of varying levels of business and technical understanding and seniority.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.Ability to balance workload across different initiatives with the ability to pick things up quickly and hit the ground runningAbility to work independently and proactively, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion.Experience of working as part of an Agile delivery team.Additional Role DetailsThis role is subject to the Conduct Rules set by the FCA.Don’t meet every requirement?
