My client is one of the world's largest custodian bank and securities services company. They are looking for a Business Analyst to come and join their Global Legal Solutions team on a 6-month initial contract. As a Business Analyst, you will be a primary contact for customers and all groups within the organization for small scale projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for end-to-end project management that includes scope management and estimation, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and with minimum defects. They will also adhere to methodologies adopted by the firm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Project management via creation and maintenance of projects, plans, schedule effort estimation and tracking.
* Liaison between customers and internal groups to ensure delivery of projects on time and within budget.
* Ensures project delivery in conformance with company software development life cycle methodologies.
* Conducts status meetings and facilitates issues resolution and risk mitigation.
* Assists in providing status reports to senior staff in larger scale projects.
* Works with business users to define business requirements and create functional specifications.
* Bachelor degree in Business Management or related discipline is preferred, a degree in technology is a plus, along with at least one to three years of experience in a systems environment, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
