A leading presence within the world of Social Housing are looking for a Building Surveyor, or Responsive Repairs�Surveyor, to join their team on a permanent basis, working in Liverpool. This organisation provides repairs and maintenance for thousands of Merseyside based properties in the social rented sector, including�Responsive repairs and maintenance,�Cyclical and planned improvement works and specialist property adaptations. With over �100m worth of work secured, the team now require a Building Surveyor to join their team.�



About the Role



The overall purpose of the role will be to:��




  • To assist in the delivery of an excellent quality service of responsive repairs, void maintenance, DMC and Planned works on behalf of clients within the social housing sector

  • To ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through the delivery of quality asset management services.

  • Conduct detailed property inspections to identify repair issues, documenting findings accurately and thoroughly to scope works and prepare specifications. Completing pre and post inspections of DMC works completed. Stay up to date with relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards. Ensuring quality of work and response times meet the required standards and SLAs. Attend mould, damp and condensation inspections and provide detailed reports

  • To undertake quality assurance inspections in the support of the responsive repair's, void maintenance and DMC works.

  • To provide property survey information as required actively update the asset management system

  • To ensure value for money is delivered through all projects.



What's Required



You are�committed to delivering results on time and have effective decision making. They need to have a substantial post qualification experience and a solid understanding of asset management legislation.� Experience in a similar role in a Housing Association or Local Authority would be desirable as would be the possession of a BTEC�(Level 3), HNC, HND, BSc (Property Related), HHSRS, CIOB, CIBSE, RICS or equivalent qualification.
