Role:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering a diverse range of building surveying services. Responsibilities will include conducting detailed building surveys, preparing scheme designs with costings, bills of quantities, and specifications for works. You will also be involved in project management and the administration of contracts, as well as advising clients on health and safety matters, property legislation, and building regulations.
Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Building Surveying or a related field, with a professional accreditation (RICS or equivalent)
- A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in building surveying
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard software
- A strong understanding of construction technology, property legislation, and contract law
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A full UK driving licence is desirable due to the nature of site visits
