We are seeking a motivated and reliable Building Surveyor who will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and quality of our construction projects.

Rate of Pay: £
19.81 per hour
Location:
Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6XB
Job Type: Initially for 3 to 6 months with the probability of extension
Hours: 5 days in a week, 35 hours in a week, Monday to Friday, Standard Office hours
Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Project Expertise: Enhance proficiency in planned and reactive maintenance; oversee minor works and capital projects in portfolios like Education and Social Services; collaborate with clients, contractors, and technical teams.
Statutory Testing and Procurement: Develop and implement a testing regime to meet statutory requirements; adhere to the Procurement Policy for transparent order placements.
Collaboration and Health & Safety: Coordinate with the DLO section, Building Facilities Officers, and Health & Safety Officers; manage minor and reactive works; implement Health & Safety protocols.
