We are seeking a talented Building Surveyor to join our client team in Poole. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Asset & Validation Surveys prior to works beginning, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements. This role requires a technically minded individual who can work effectively off an asset sheet and provide valuable insights to support project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Asset & Validation Surveys in accordance with project requirements and specifications.
  • Utilise technical expertise to assess building assets and identify any discrepancies or issues that may impact project outcomes.
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate recording and documentation of survey findings.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to address identified issues and optimise project performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate survey results and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of best practices and standard procedures for surveying activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Technical proficiency and ability to work off an asset sheet.
  • Strong understanding of building regulations, construction standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Full driving license.
