Experienced Building Services Engineer required to work in a busy maintenance division in the Newcastle area.
I am looking for a Building Services Engineer to work in the Newcastle area to manage and oversee M&E works and take responsibility for engineering systems to ensure they are safe, effective and economically run.
You will receive:
- �22.50 - �25 P/H
- 37 hours a week of work
The successful canddiate will be expected to:
- Provide cost effective delivery of building maintenance, engineering maintenance and building & engineering operations.
- Advise on annual maintenance requirements for the area along with estimates of cost for inclusion in revenue budgets and supporting planning statements.
- Survey properties to identify potential health and safety risks and potential failures of plant and infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Relevant health and safety qualifications including Legionella, Electricity at Work, Asbestos Awareness, Fire Safety and COSHH
- Proven organisational ability with project management skills (training provided if necessary)
- The ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Utilise relevant software packages such as those used in maintennace management and project design and specification.
- 3 - 5 years minimum post qualification experience as well as wide knowledge of building services maintenance or construction experience of contract and project management.
- Ideally you will have qualifications leading to Chartership (Chartered Engineer, Chartered institue of Building, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors)
