Job DescriptionBuilding Services Consultant (Technical Support)Glasgow References number #2034The RoleTechnical Support requires a Support Consultant to add to the existing team in the UK to provide direct high quality guidance to our global user base in order to advise on effective use of the IES software products in order to meet project goals and deadlines. The Support Consultant will have the opportunity to work with different departments within IES and will be provided with comprehensive training to develop their own skills with both existing and new products and services.Duties will include:Providing support via email or telephone directly to customers.Assisting users with troubleshooting and diagnosis of model issues.Advising customers on modelling questions, related to software usage and application of industry knowledge.Contributing to quality of assistance provided by the company in the form of Knowledge Base Content, User Guides reviews and other proactive guidance.Representing users to the company and development team product strategy groups, includes liaising with users to capture details of errors, collecting and commenting on user feedback and presenting usability issues for consideration in future developments.Working with the Support team to ensure knowledge and skills are shared effectively, involves learning from others as well as providing guidance.Formal training on new software features, products and company services will be provided on an on-going basis.The Support Consultant will have access to the expert guidance and advice of our world class development and consultancy teams.
