They are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of building safety and compliance to ensure the well-being of their residents.



The Role



We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Building Safety and Compliance Manager to join this dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of building safety, regulatory compliance, and risk management across the organisations property portfolio.



Key Responsibilities




  • Ensure all properties meet current building safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, health and safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.

  • Lead investigations into safety incidents, ensuring timely and effective resolution, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and regulatory bodies to promote a culture of safety and compliance.

  • Deliver training programs for staff and contractors on safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, safety audits, and incident reports.



Qualifications and Experience




  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building safety and compliance management, preferably within the housing sector.

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) are highly desirable.

  • In-depth understanding of building safety regulations, fire safety standards, and health and safety legislation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
