Building Inspector

A national RBCA now seek a Class 2 'B'- 'D' RBI in both their North and South London regions.A national RBCA are seeking a Class 2 'D' RBI based across South London, to service low-rise and traditional housing local to their London base. �60,000 - �65,000 plus company car or allowance, enhanced pension and leave entitlement, with the opportunity for career progression within a growing company.

Building Inspector responsibilities:

• Check plans for compliance with the Building Regulations and associated legislation
• Issue initial notices, plan certificates, amendment notices and final certificates
• Undertake inspection of works and produce reports
• At completion of works ensure all relevant inspections have been performed with appropriate certification submitted, and defects/non-conformities addressed before final certification has been issued
• Support the training and development of assistant surveyors
• Client meetings contribution
• Undertake peer review audits on an ad-hoc basis
• Maintain Building Inspector CPD / up-to-date Building Regulations knowledge as required

Building Inspector requirements:

• Class 2 'B' registered Building Inspector or above
• Interpersonal skills
